Tracker
Requirements Tracker
Requirements Tracker is a Windows application designed to
capture requirements for a software development project.
Requirements Tracker is integrated with Microsoft Team
Foundation Server.
Features
Team Foundation Server 2008/2010 Integration
Requirement Tracker data is synchronized
with Team Foundation Server. Requirements are created as
custom work items in TFS. This allows the Business Analyst
to work within Requirements Tracker and the Developer to work
within Visual Studio.
Work Offline
Requirements Tracker
allows users to continue working on project requirements while
disconnected from the network. Once the user has
reconnected with the network the application will synchronize
with the central database.
Multiple Projects/Multiple Users
Multiple users can work on a project. Each user can
also have a different portfolio of projects.
JAD Notes
Typically at the start of a project requirements sessions are
unstructured. The JAD notes feature allows the user to
enter free form notes in a rich text editor. Notes can
later be converted into specific requirements.

Entity Descriptions
Define entities, field
types, field sizes, and validation rules. For example, an
entity of type Product may have fields Description (Text/30) and
Price (Currency).

User Groups
Define all of the user groups for the project.
Use Cases
Capture use cases and map each use case to one or more of the
defined user groups. Use cases can also have attachments
which allows users to attach screen shots, regulatory documents,
samples of paper forms, or any other type of document.
